Using a deck of playing cards, deal each player one card. Compare and see which card is "greater," the player with the highest card wins and gets to keep the other player's cards. At the end of the game (when the deck runs out) count cards to find out which player has the most. You can change this game to get the lowest number.
A big thank you to our party planners and helpers for giving the children a wonderful Valentine's Day to remember! I am sure all the children had fun reading the cards from their friends. I would like to thank everyone for my wonderful cards and treats too! I sure felt all of the love from the Room K families! We loved Jump Rope for Heart and all of the children got into the spirit of the fun games planned for the event.
I will be sending an invitation to sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences. At this conference we will go over the report card, test results and class work. We will have short days during Conference week.
A big thank you to all who sent in the requested fabric for sharing on Friday. Lisa will be starting our class quilt, which will be auctioned off at the Silent Auction in the Spring. The children were all excited to see their fabric and tell a little about it.
Have a great week!
