Speech & Language: our sound of the week is /kl/. We will be making clocks and Joseph will be bringing -our snack of Klondike Bars (yum!).
This week we will meet Ms. T and her tall, tall teeth! This sound is pretty easy for the children and I am sure you can find lots of items around the house that start with the /t/ sound. Please bring in one item to share with the class! |
Healthy Lunch:
Thank you all for sending healthy lunches each day. The children do love eating in the cafeteria, but many times eat very little there. If your child is buying lunch in the cafeteria, please send a healthy, substantial snack to off-set the small lunch consumed at lunch time. Hungry kids get tired and cranky in the afternoon!
I am very proud of the improvement I see as the children work in class. They have improved their focus and are producing work we can all be proud of. Continue to praise your child for class work that is well-done and encourage their best work at home too. We practice mindfulness during Council and at different points during the day. I wanted to share this interesting article with you.
Have a wonderful week,
Mrs. W.
