Speech & Language: Final /f/, leaf prints, Cheese puffs provided by Henry!

This week we will have a very special and different week. We will start off the week on Monday with a double celebration of the 100th Day of School and Groundhog Day. Be sure to check the news with your child in the morning to see if the groundhog sees his shadow! The children love to come into school with knowledge from home!
Wednesday we will have science as Ms. Monks is off campus on Monday this week. We are learning about arctic animals.. We will also have P.E. so remember to have your children wear tennis shoes. If the shoes have laces, please secure the laces with bow biters or triple knots!
Thursday we will continue with our Planet Bravo lesson. Have you seen the great skills games the children have been learning? Look on this site under the tab iPad/Computer games I like and Planet Bravo is the first link on the left. We will have dance in the afternoon with Kristy, our favorite time of day!
Friday is our BIG DAY! The entire kindergarten will sing at the morning assembly so be sure to arrive at school by 7:50. Bring your cameras and video cameras. Shortly after that we will leave for our field trip to the Moorpark Teaching Zoo. The children are very excited and I know it will be a fantastic day. Please remember:
Chaperone/drivers need $3.00 & a lunch
Children need to wear their Super K shirts, bring a snack, lunch and water. Tennis shoes are best for walking around the zoo. Remember homework is due and we will have time for sharing in the afternoon.
Thank you all!
Mrs. W.
