Sharing: EVERYONE! Bring in fabric this Friday, per the directions from Lisa! Thank you!
Reading at home is so important. Please make time to read every night for at least 20 minutes. On the Room K website you can find reading charts for each month. Please turn in one chart listing the books and/or chapters read by a parent to the Room K children. If your child is already reading, you may list the books they read to you on the back of the chart. It is important to read to your child as they grow up, even when they begin reading on their own. A fantastic book (for adults) called The Reading Promise is a lovely memoir about a father who read to his daughter, every night, until she went to college. The memories they shared gave them an amazing bond, and embedded the love of literature in his daughter forever. Alice Ozma is the author.
It looks like winter is finally here so with that in mind, please be sure your child is dressed for the weather. Warm jackets and comfortable play shoes with socks can help your child enjoy recess and lunch play time.
Have a wonderful week!
