Welcome Ms. F and her "funny feet!" This week we will be meeting her and completing our language arts activities including the rhyming book, journal, listening center, play dough letter stamping, Handwriting Without Tears lessons and reading games.
I would like to thank Farracy, Canyon, Sarah, Jane (Christina's friend) and The Yellow Chair Foundation who matched each donation for funding our class Donor's Choose project Refining Fine Motor Skills! We got funded in less than a week. I am so inspired that I have created another project to get some amazing art supplies. Hopefully this project will be up in time to take advantage of this offer:

This week will be very busy! In addition to our regular classroom activities, here are some reminders:
Monday: Science
Tuesday: PICTURE DAY! REMEMBER TO ARRIVE AT SCHOOL BY 8:00. WE TAKE OUR PICTURES IN THE GARDEN AT 8:15! I am not screaming at you, but I don't want any children to miss out. We will also take our photo for the class directory. We have tried to do this for a week, but have had absent children each time. Please make every effort to have your child at school and on time on this day!
Wednesday: Speech and Language (Mo, Lila's mom is bringing the snack. PE today too, so don't forget those safe, close-toed, rubber-souled running shoes!
Thursday: Yoga (comfortable clothes for stretching)
Friday: MORNING ASSEMBLY-8:00 am! Homework is due. Library day. Sharing for the Eeyore group. Yoga with Lydia (comfortable clothes for stretching).
