Speech & Language: We will be practicing the initial /l/ and making ladybugs. Our snack of limeade will be contributed by Lily!

May 15th will be our annual Kindergarten Folk Song performance on the garden stage directly following the morning assembly. It will last for about 30 minutes. We have been singing together all year and the children really love the songs and singing along with Mr. Harrell and Kyle Mullarky (Olivia's dad) as they play the guitar. You won't want to miss it!
Our Room K Celebration will be on Wednesday June 3rd. We will have a regular morning and then we will have a Room K talent show from 1:15-1:45. Each child can prepare a talent to share (more information to follow) and we will perform some of the dances Kristy has taught us during the year. At 1:45 we will have a Room K party together on the playground. Our party moms will be organizing this! School gets out at 2:40. The last day of school is Thursday June 4th with a 1:35 dismissal.
I will be sending a sign-up for the end of the year Room K clean up/pack up soon. Every year we have to completely pack up our entire classrooms so they can be cleaned over the summer. This will take place during the last week of school, a little bit each day. A lot will need to get done on Thursday, June 4th and I will need a few parents to help the children and me carry all of the classroom materials to the outdoor shed.
Thank you to Kristy, Paul and Nikki for helping the children create an amazing T-Pee for our Silent Auction project! I hope you have all lined up your babysitters for the May 16th event at Froggy's. It's going to be a great grown-up evening!
