Speech & Language: /sh/. We are making shells. Our snack will be sugar snap peas provided by Josiah.
We are a small class and I am very grateful to those of you who are helping out in so many ways, in the classroom, and by volunteering for school events like the Halloween Carnival. It was great to see you there, having fun making our school the best it can be.
If you have a hard time helping at school, you can ask about other volunteer opportunities. There are many ways to be a part of our school "village."
This Monday in Science we will be carving our pumpkin in science and estimating the number of seeds that are inside. This will be a messy but fun activity!
We will have easel painting on Monday morning, Art Trek Monday afternoon, and some fun Halloween sponge painting this week too!
Last week the kids had a great time learning the Fox Trot and Flamenco dancing with Kristy and I took some great video footage for our class movie.
Take a look at our class garden. Carolyn and Sue are doing an amazing job teaching the children about growing vegetables and tending to the small plants. We are going to have a great harvest!
This week we will finish up with our math assessment. I will share this with you, along with the monthly assessment, classwork and report card during parent conferences. Conferences will take place in November and I will send out a sign up via email ahead of time.
Thank you for all that you do to help Room K!
