Speech & Language: This week we will be practicing the sound of initial /S/.. We will make sailboats and our snack of celery sticks will be contributed by Freddie!
We will not have sharing this week, but will have two groups share next week as we did this past Friday. Homework will be due on Thursday this week due to the holiday.

We are continuing to learn about our community, specifically about our "town" and the people who are community workers. If you would like to come in to class to tell us about your job during this month we would love it! Please let me know when you can come it to talk and feel free to bring a book, picture or props to help the children understand your job.
Our high-frequency/sight words this week are: you, can, see, five. Practice these words when reading with your child at home.
We are continuing to work in our November math journal and completing our Math Daily Pages. Additionally we are learning about comparing sets of objects and more/less.
I am enjoying our parent-teacher conferences and so happy to be able to share my observations and the data so far.
Thank you to those who have helped in the classroom, completed projects at home and purchased items for the classroom. Your involvement is always appreciated!
