Sharing: This week the Poohs will share. Please note the new sharing topic for March!
February Book Charts are due this week if you have not turned them in already.
I would like to give a huge thank you to Natalie for organizing, coordinating and implementing our fabulous Art Gallery project. I am sure you will all agree she helped all of the children create long-lasting, beautiful art that I am sure you will enjoy for years to come.
This week we will have early dismissal all week to accommodate parent conferences. I look forward to discussing your child's progress. I will have a conference each morning at 7:30 so please consider this as you arrive each day. For those unable to attend, I will send the progress reports home on Friday.
We will pack a lot into each day this week even with the early dismissal. This week we have Dr. Seuss Day/Read Across America. We will spend March 2nd reading our favorite Dr. Seuss books. In the morning we will be treated to a Vocabulary Parade presented in the auditorium from 8:30-9:30 by the 3rd-5th graders. The week will have fun activities related to some Dr. Seuss stories. This is a celebration of reading and the excitement of the Room K readers!
We have been enjoying the guest readers (parent volunteers) in Room K. It is always nice for the children to hear a variety of voices reading aloud. I am enjoying listening to your children reading via Raz-Kids. Keep up the great work!
Best wishes,
Mrs. W.
